Dierks Bentley + Maren Morris Headlining Wildlands Festival

Just announced! Wildlands Festival is back at the Big Sky Events Arena on August 2&3, with headliners Dierks Bentley and Maren Morris! Outlaw Partners and Lone Mountain Land Company are proud to present two nights of incredible music celebrating wild and scenic spaces.

FRIDAY HEADLINER: Maren Morris, the breakout star behind the Grammy award-winning single “My Church,” brings her roots and soulful sound to the forefront. Hailing from Texas, Morris continuously pushes genre boundaries. Her collaboration with Brandi Carlile in The Highwomen earned Americana accolades, with a special guest appearance by Dolly Parton at the Newport Folk Festival. Notably, her EDM crossover single “The Middle” with DJ Zedd stands as one of the most streamed songs of all time. If you haven’t heard it, ask your kids to serenade you – it’s a banger featured in McDonald’s and Target commercials.

With duets ranging from One Direction’s Niall Horan to her current single with DJ Diplo, Morris’s show promises something for everyone. Local music scene mainstay Annie Clements, Maren’s bassist and backing vocalist for the past 7 years, will also be recognized by many residents.

Opening the Friday show is Lukas Nelson, dedicated to the Wildlands cause and conservation. Following in his father Willie Nelson’s footsteps, Lukas and the Promise of the Real bring their unique American country rock to the mountains.

SATURDAY HEADLINER: Saturday’s headliner, Dierks Bentley, known for nearly 20 number-one Billboard Country songs, brings his high-energy hit parade to Big Sky. As humorous as he is heartfelt, Bentley’s side project, the 90s country parody band the Hot Country Knights, pokes fun at the genre’s most stereotypical leanings. Get ready for a nonstop, rip-roaring, glass-raising musical experience. Collaborating in the past with Friday’s headliner Maren Morris, there’s hope for a duo performance of their release “I’ll Be The Moon.”

Opening the Saturday show is Wyatt Flores, a fast-rising star and newcomer with a raw and powerful voice. The 22-year-old Oklahoma native’s sold-out headlining tour showcases his emotional and musical juxtaposition, drawing on themes of poverty and cultural struggle, complemented by delicate mandolin and fiddle – a perfect fit for the wild and beautiful backdrop of Big Sky.
