Road Closure & Traffic Control Plan for Town Center Ave. through 07/31

Please see the attached exhibit from Dick Anderson regarding temporary traffic control that will need to be implemented on Town Center Ave over the next 6 weeks. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained; however, the road will narrow to accommodate the ability to operate a lift from the roadway.

The traffic control will be implemented for a total of 5 days, starting with the first day tomorrow, followed by 4 additional days spread out over the coming weeks. No traffic control will be completed on Wednesdays to avoid impacting the farmer’s market.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Community Road Update: June 23 – June 25

Beginning Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., MDOT will perform an asphalt overlay project at the intersection of MT Highway 64 and US Highway 191. Work will extend approximately ¾ mile north of the junction, with pavement repairs occurring on both sides of the roadway.

During this work:

  • Traffic will be reduced to one lane.

MDOT will make every effort to minimize traffic impacts and appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation while this important maintenance work is completed.
