The Wilson: Big Sky Chamber presents Montana Property Tax 101: A Forum for Big Sky Property Owners

Join the Big Sky Chamber for Business in Big Sky: Montana Property Tax 101, a forum for Big Sky Property Owners on Tuesdasy, August 19 at 5:30 PM at The Wilson Hotel. This community event will help homeowners and business owners better understand Montana’s property tax system, recent valuation increases, and what steps you can take if you have concerns.
Special guests Brendan Beatty, Director of the Montana Department of Revenue, and Paula Gilbert, Administrator of the Property Assessment Division, will educate attendees on the particulars of the new legislation impacting Montana homeowners and answer questions about the property tax process.
The forum will be hosted by John Zirkle, Big Sky resident and Resort Tax board member, who will moderate the conversation and ask questions on behalf of the Big Sky community.
Free and open to the public. Light appetizers will be provided. This event is apart of our Business in Big Sky signature series.
