Tonight’s Headlining Band
The Brothers Comatose
Hailing from San Francisco, The Brothers Comatose are a roots-infused bluegrass band known for their infectious blend of Americana, folk, and traditional bluegrass. Founded in 2008 by brothers Ben and Alex Morrison, the group quickly carved out a reputation for their high-energy performances, heartfelt songwriting, and virtuosic musicianship. At the heart of their sound are tight harmonies, hard-hitting rhythms, and a foot-stomping, back-porch spirit that brings audiences to life.
In 2024, the band welcomed mandolinist and vocalist Addie Levy, whose addition brought a fresh layer of depth and dynamic harmony to the group’s already distinctive sound. With influences ranging from old-time bluegrass to country and rock, The Brothers Comatose push tradition forward while maintaining a strong emphasis on storytelling. Their songs dive into themes of love, loss, and adventure — all while keeping an upbeat, rollicking energy that turns every show into a celebration. Whether headlining intimate venues or rocking festival stages, the band delivers a passionate, high-octane performance that makes every audience feel like part of the family.
Tonight’s Emerging Artist
Cruz Contreras and The Black Lillies
Cruz Contreras, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter, and producer, has roots in Tennessee and Michigan, but his influence on Americana music spans far and wide. As the frontman and founder of The Black Lillies, he helped shape a raw, rootsy sound that earned national acclaim, topped Billboard and Americana charts, and brought the band to stages alongside John Oates, Langhorne Slim, and The Turnpike Troubadours. With The Black Lillies now reunited on select performances, their signature mix of country soul, blues grit, and Southern rock is back on the road — led by Contreras’ magnetic voice and songwriting. Currently at work on his debut solo album Cosmico, Contreras and the band continue to captivate new listeners with every performance.
