DESCRIPTION:Join the Gallatin River Task Force and Big Sky Community Organization to scoop the poop and clean up up dog waste from some of Big Sky’s most popular trails! At the height of runoff season\, it is crucial that we prevent nutrients from dog waste from entering our rivers and streams. Join us on the trails to protect the Gallatin River and our the community water resources. \nWhat to bring: Sturdy\, close-toed shoes\, clothing that can get dirty\, sun protection\, water bottle\, any snacks you may want! \nWhat we provide: buckets\, gloves\, poop scoopers\, garbage bags\, trash pickers\, snacks and refreshments! \nWe will reach out to you with more information after submitting this volunteer sign-up form. \nRead more about the importance of picking up and properly disposing of dog waste on our blog.

DESCRIPTION:The Gallatin River Task Force is a 501c(3) nonprofit\, founded in 2000\, based out of Big Sky that works to protect\, restore\, and inspire stewardship of the Gallatin River.  Join us on July 12th at the Riverhouse for our annual Hooked on the Gallatin gala where we raise funds to help sustain all the work that needs to be done! This event brings together all varieties of people who love the river: outdoor enthusiasts\, scientists\, business owners\, families\, conservationists\, local and regional partners\, elected officials\, volunteers\, and sponsors for a night of action to help the Gallatin. Support our work through attending this year’s event\, donating or bidding on an auction item\, or making a generous donation to support the Gallatin River Task Force.
