4th Annual Haunted Peaks Halloween Festival

A two day Halloween celebration in Big Sky Town Center. This all ages event is filled with traditional holiday activities, films, music and great Fall fun. PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19 many of our traditional activities are being offered virtually. Masks, social distancing and hand sanitizing are mandatory when attending any in person events.

Below is our tentative itinerary of events. Last updated Oct. 29.

FRIDAY OCT. 30

  • Virtual Horror Film Festival Day 1: Lone Peak Cinema presents two days of curated horror film playlist for all ages. Tune in and watch from the safety of your home with family and friends. Playlists include Urban Legends, Indiewire’s Greatest Horror Films and their Family Friendly movies.
  • Pumpkin King & Queen Carving Competition: Take a photo of your carved pumpkin with a battery operated votive and post it in the Facebook event discussion feed by midnight, October 30. Our team of judges will pick their favorite design and crown the Pumpkin King & Queen on Halloween morning. Winners will receive prize packs from local businesses! NOTE: Get your pumpkins and support the great efforts of Big Sky Community Food Bank at the 2020 Great Pumpkin Giveaway, Oct. 24 at Fire Pit Park from 12-4 PM. Make a canned food donation (soup preferred) and pick out your prize pumpkin.
  • DJ TAKEaCHANCE and Jenn-N-Juice: The party is at Blue Buddha Sushi Lounge this evening as local DJs broadcast a Facebook LIVE performance. Tune in 6 PM.
  • Haunted Peaks Window Display Competition Day 1: Stroll through downtown, listen to our Haunted Peaks Radio playing throughout the Town Center and admire the spooky creativity of local merchants and artists as they decorate their storefronts for our annual window display competition. We will be posting all of the participating merchants on our Town Center Facebook and Instagram. Vote for your favorites by giving them a like or commenting in the feed.
  • 2020 Haunted Peaks Geocache Mystery Presented By Black Diamond Day 1: Follow the clues and solve mysteries to win hidden prizes all weekend long. Simply be one of the first 10 groups to message Big Sky Town Center on Facebook or Instagram to register your team and get your first clue.

SATURDAY OCT. 31

  • Yappy Hour at The Rocks: Costume contest and happy hour for people and pets from 5-6 PM at Fire Pit Park across from The Rocks.
  • Haunted Peaks Window Display Competition Day 2: Stroll through downtown, listen to our Haunted Peaks Radio playing throughout the Town Center and admire the spooky creativity of local merchants and artists as they decorate their storefronts for our annual window display competition.
