The Big Sky Town Center is pleased to welcome the beautiful art of Kreta Chandler, a local Bozeman artist specializing in her own form of a fine art photo process. Kreta was featured atThe Root for Life in the Market Place Building during the Christmas stroll in December. Her artwork has a found its way onto the walls of the Simkins-Hallin Showroom and the lobby of the RJS building.
Kreta’s rare and highly sought after art spans many genresfrom the elegant simplicity of her surreal and whimsical fine art to breathtaking landscape and seascape traditional photography. Her fine art and photos cover awide range of subjects from botanicals, to insects, to sea creatures, and to panoramic world scenes.
As she travels around the world, she captures its great beauty and stories onto a digital canvas. She then digitally paints, sculpts, and transforms them into new dimensions using various types of media and embellishments.
She creates rare, one-of-a kind originals on canvas, and then retires and archives the images in a digital vault, not to be used again, thus making the art pieces truly originals. She also creates originals by commission from her clients who want customized colors and sizes of artwork.
For other art pieces, she creates and reprints a small edition size of five or less canvas art pieces, which are signed and numbered. She also makes available 8”x10” photo reprints with a 11”x14” mat as open editions.
Her work is currently shown in Oregon, Washington, Montana, and Sydney, Australia. Please feel free to stop by the Simkins Hallin Showroomor the RJS Tower Building and browse through Kreta’s work. Her art may be seen and purchased by contacting her through her website at www.KretaChandler.com.
About the Artist: Kreta Chandler
Ibelieve that every day is an adventure and has an interesting story to be discovered and shared in new ways.
Whether scuba diving with sting rays in the Caribbean, kayaking in the South Pacific, photographing a San Diego Chargers game from the platform of a Royal Air Force C-130 plane, orphotographing grizzly bears in Yellowstone Park near my home in Bozeman,Montana, I capture the world’s great beauty and stories onto a digital canvas. I then digitally paint, sculpt, and transform them into new dimensions using various types of media and embellishments.
Thank you for allowing me to share my stories with you through my art. Please enjoy!
