The recently finished Fire Pit Park of Town Center was the backdrop for a fun-filled afternoon, August 31st. The community turned out to enjoy the music of Steam Powered Airplane and a chance to win door prizes provided by Town Center merchants including Grizzly Outfitters, The Root, The Cave Spirits & Gifts, Big Horn Boutique, Choppers Grub & Pub and WokKee Mountain Kitchens.

Town Center restaurants offered shelter from the sun with food specials and there were great deals to be found at the retail shops.

The event was sponsored by Simkins-Hallin as a thank you to the community and area businesses for their support of the TownCenter project.

The Labor Day Community Appreciation was only the latest event hosted by Town Center. This spring, the Town Center played host to a Corvette Rally, and in June the Annual Montana Motorcycle Roundup came to Big Sky complete with the high-flying stunts of SCS Racing. August welcomed an open house for the quarter horses of La Cense Montana from Dillon and well-know trainer Jeff Griffith.

This fall we are planning a Halloween Bash complete with trick-or-treating and a pumpkin carving contest. There will be the annual Christmas Stroll, Pancakes with Santa, and Fireside Fridays. The kick-off our farmer’s markets will take place next spring.
