Big Sky Farmers Market Kicks Off July 9!

The new market will be held every other Thursday from July 9th through September 17th, running from 5:00-7:00 PM at Fire Pit Park in the Town Center.  The six-series market is FREE to vendors and the public. The Thursday night market dates are: July 9th and 23rd, August 6th and 20th, and September 3rdand 17th.

 

The market will feature fresh produce, cut flowers, herbs, jewelry, clothing, baked goods, many food vendors, antler art, woodworking, photography, a large assortment of handmade and craft items, childrens’ booths and activities, as well as some live music. There will be a strong showing of local businesses and non-profit organizations at the market, and beer and wine will also be available. The market will feature over 90 vendors located on the grass as well as on a portion of Lone Peak Drive that will be closed to traffic.

The market is a just the beginning of the “Thursday Night Festival” in Big Sky. Many nights there are also free “Music in the Mountains” concerts at the Community Park, presented by the Arts Council of Big Sky and various local businesses. We invite you to come up for the night and make it a long weekend with Stay-n-Play packages being offered from River Rock Lodge and East/West Resorts at Moonlight.
