Restaurants have recognized Big Sky Town Center as the place to be. Several eating establishments have opened their doors in the commercial district.
WokKee Mountain Kitchens opened in February. The restaurant offers over 50 Chinese dishes for eat-in, take-out or delivery. They are open late until 11pm, 7 days a week. You can call in your order at 995-7181 or order online at www.wokkee.com.
In April, Brian Franks relocated to the Town Center and has nearly doubled his business. It could be the all-day breakfast or the fact that the Huckleberry Cafe has the only drive-thru in Big Sky. Starting soon, the Huckleberry Café will be open for dinner and drinks. The Huckleberry Café is located in The Goode Place building on Ousel Falls Road. They are open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and you can phone in your order at 995-3130.
Spring also saw the opening of Choppers Grub and Pub. The menu was created by Tanner Raban, Choppers’ talented young Executive Chef, and includes sandwiches, burgers, pasta, steaks, seafood and more. You can enjoy the 12 high-def TVs, play pool, videogames and NTN trivia, or try your luck in the casino. Choppers’ bar offers over 100 beers, 100 wines and a tantalizing list of specialty drinks. Choppers Grub & Pub is open for lunch at 11am and the dinner menu is available from 5:30-9:30 daily. No reservations are necessary. Stop in or call (406) 995-3830.
The first restaurant to make the move to Town Center was the Hungry Moose Market and Deli. One of the favorite features of the store is the deli, which serves fresh meat and veggies on any number of breads or wraps. The chef maintains the menu and the “Moose” has stayed true to its “organically grown” origins by creating sauces and spreads from scratch daily. The Hungry Moose Market and Deli is open every single day from 6:30am-10:00pm, and you can browse their entire selection online at www.hungrymoose.com.
We encourage you to support your neighborhood restaurants. No matter what your craving, one of these fine establishments is sure to have the cure!
