Recycling Now in Town Center
The recycling bins are now located in the Town Center, east of Ousel Falls Road on Aspen Leaf Drive. Bring your cardboard, #1 - #7 plastic, paper, newspaper, magazines, and aluminum and steel cans to the Town Center to be recycled! Hopefully this will be a more convenient location for more people. Thanks to Dave at Full Circle Recycling, and Wayne at the County Solid Waste District for making this happen.
Dog Friendly XC Ski Trails in Town Center
Many thanks to Lone Mountain Ranch for designing more groomed ski trails in the Town Center this winter. As soon as there is enough snow for a good base (it’s coming!), Herb and the crew at the Ranch will be grooming a couple of nice loops! And yes, these will be dog friendly. As with all of the Ranch’s groomed ski trails, trail passes are required and can be purchased from the Ranch. Please call them at 406-995-4644 for more info.
Cooking Classes in Town Center
The Gourmet Gals will be hosting an Italian Cooking class for the Adult Education Program through Ophir. It will be held at the Simkins-Hallin Showroom in the RJS Building in the Town Center (Grizzly Outfitters Building) on Monday evenings from 7-8:30 through December 14th. This is a fun idea for a girls or guys night out, a couples evening, a way to meet new people, or just a jump start for the holidays. And the best part...you get to eat your work! Drop-ins are welcome, and the cost is only $15 per class. Please contact Lacey Cook at 995-4281 ext. 222 or lcook@ophirschool.org to sign up. Also - check out the new winter/holiday menu at thegourmetgals.com. They’re now taking orders for Christmas and New Years. See you on Mondays!
Big Sky WiFi
A new Big Sky company is now offering an alternative and optional ISP solution to various condo associations in Big Sky. This service would not require owners to switch from their current provider, but may provide an option for internet service through flexible contracts, and does not require a phone line. Big Sky residents Pete Bolane and Jason Luchini have started this company to provide more flexible service, with options for daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly internet service. They are right here in Big Sky, Mont. What difference does that make? In a small town it means that they stand behind our product. They will likely see you in the post office and grocery store, and they want to be proud of the services that they offer. Check them out at bigskywifi.com.
